The last couple years may have been brutal for some, but nonetheless, it’s been a much-needed wake up call. Previously, you all were too content with mediocrity…too content with the bare minimum. Not so much anymore!
More people than ever realized that when it comes to your life, YOU are the one that must be in charge especially in the face of adversity. It’s a travesty that it took a global pandemic for some of you all to realize this, but some key truths were revealed to you during this time:
- Your job views you as disposable
- The government is not your savior
- You must have multiple streams of income
- Only you can create wealth for yourself
- And last, but not least wealth is more than just money…its freedom…its health…its safety
Well not that you finally got the memo, what are you going to do about it?
Well, this survey says millions of people have the right idea. They’re quitting their mediocre jobs and going out to pursue bigger and better things. The Great resignation has become a real thing. We’re looking at millions of people quitting their jobs each month. According to joblist.com, “after 4.4 million workers quit their jobs in September and another 4.2 million quit in October, a record 4.5 million left their jobs in November. This trend appears to be here to stay.”
Rightfully so! We’re still in the midst of a media-induced health crisis and inflation is through the roof. Not to mention, a lot of employers are trying to force employees out of the workforce by unlawfully pushing vaccinations on employees or introducing robots and AI to the workforce more than ever.
If your job can’t increase your pay to adapt with the times, it’s okay to know your worth and walk away. If your job can’t respect your right to have control over your own body, it’s okay to walk away. If your job is forcing people out of work and replacing them with artificial prototypes, you don’t have to sit around and wait for you to be next. It’s okay to walk away.
Now, I’m not saying just up and quit your job without some sort of plan, but do your research and find alternative ways to generate real wealth for yourself and pursue them. Make wise investments, start generating money with a side hustle, find a job that pays better. Do whatever you can to put yourself in position to branch off and start your own income stream, whatever that may look like.
At the end of the day, nothing is going to be handed to you. You have to go out and grab it yourself. So, if you want to live a life of wealth, freedom, safety and security, now’s your chance to do it.
This Great Resignation movement is the perfect leverage for you to negotiate your way to real wealth. After all, you don’t get what you deserve in life, you get what you negotiate.
